Accessible Venice

While reading some of the Tripadvisor.com message boards I ran across this link posted there http://veniceblog.*****.com/veniceblog/

While reading that I followed a link to accessibility in Venice. If you click on the Union Jack you will see the English version. It gives a map of where the lifts on bridges are located and gives you directions how to operate the lifts and where to pick up the keys you need to operate the lifts.

It was a great find for me as I was a bit worried if my knees would hold up to all the stairs up and down the bridges while walking around Venice.:D
