QM2 July 4th Sampler 1st Cruise Questions

Hi, we are first time cruisers and have decided to start at the top :) the best is good enough for us. We have a couple of questions - We tender in Boston, right? Any idea how long it takes to get off and on? We have seen Boston before and only want to be off the ship a short time and wonder if it is worth the effort?

Also, fireworks - will we stay anchored on Boston harbor for the fireworks? Thanks. Marina

Boston is not a tender port. We will dock at the Black Falcon Cruise Ship Terminal. QM2 is scheduled to arrive at noon, which means we the ship will arrive around 11:30 a.m. .

 

Boston is a great town, definitely worth getting off the ship for a few hours. The only tender port on this voyage is Bar Harbor, Maine.
