Does Queen's Grill serve lunch upon embarkation?

Miss Princess Precious would like to point out that it is generally regarded as the Queens' Grill (named after the two old Queens - i.e. Mary and Elizabeth) rather than the Queen's (i.e named after the singular Queen HM QEII) Grill. If it was, she might demand royalty (for want of a better expression) payments....

I thought that Queen's Grill passengers dined in the crew mess hall on embarkation?

I heard they were offered box lunches as they boarded- as some airlines did when they stopped serving hot meals on flights- one dry sandwich (usually a single slice of turkey with wilted lettuce on whole wheat) with no condiments (or a single package of plain old cheap brand mustard) a package of two soda crackers, a bottle of lukewarm water (4 oz) and a small package (contents four cookies) of animal crackers and a small box of dried raisins.

It comes with one small paper napkin (serviette) the consistancy and texture of Russian toilet paper.

Karie,

who is feeling her usual evil self tonight!
