hello cruisers I was wondering if you experts can help me out. We are looking to cruise for our honeymoon in December. We are looking into the Spirit from NYC. How romantic is the ship? I am looking for something as far away from carnival I can get. I would like a ship with a lot to do because we have 4 sea days. Is this the ship for us?? If not any suggestions?? while suggesting you shoulde know that I dont fly and we are in NY. I am willing to train it down to Florida but i would not be able to get there until the 11th. We are also looking to book the suite. Is it beautiful does anyone know??? Thanks everyone in advance for all your help!!!!!

All cruise ships are romantic!

All cruise ships are beautiful!

As for the Spirit, it's as beautiful and romantic as any other.

But, it's Asian interior decorations are unique for ships sailing from North America, and that's what sets it apart from all others.

Here is a great web site with photos of the Spirit. Note: the photos were taken before its last drydock and remodeling, but the decor was left untouched, or whatever changes were made to make it even better.

Also virtual tours too.

Here's a virtual tour of the Dragon's Lair:

The few changes that occured on the Spirit during last fall's drydock was remodeling the Movie House into the Photo Center, remodeling a few Meeting/Conference Rooms into a Galleria Shop, and adding the Maharini's Lounge from an unused part of the Maharajah's Casino. Also, some of the Speciality Restaurants were renamed, Maxim's to Le Bristo, Tai Pan to Cagney's Steakhouse and the Bund to Shanghai. So little of the decor has changed.
