flight time concern

We have just booked our first cruise and was wondering if someone could give us an idea on which flight time would be better. We are flying into Orlando and our ship departs from Port Canaveral. Since we are flying in a day early, I'm not worried about the flight times getting there. But on the day the cruise returns, I was looking at flying out at 1:30 (not sure if that gives us enough time to get off the boat and drive to Orlando). The next flight leaves at 3:30, but it is $65.00 more per person. If anyone has done this before, I would greatly appreciate the help. Thanks.

We haven't flown on the same day but have travelled from the airport to port canaveral, the journey took aroung one hour.On the 2 Disney cruises we have been on we were off the ship by 09:00 and this was by choice we could have been off earlier.I'm not sure but I think all cruise lines allow you to leave the ship as early as possible bearing in mind they have to get the ship ready for the next passengers who will be boarding the day you depart.
