bubbles1209 Posted June 3, 2006 #1 Share Posted June 3, 2006 When you are on a beach excursion, what do you do with your digital camera or digital camcorder? Seems to me the beach isn't the best place to carry those with the wind and the fine sand, but if so, how do ya keep them from being stolen other than taking turns in the water? caribbean dreams Posted June 3, 2006 #2 Share Posted June 3, 2006 That is exactly what we do, take turns in the water, we normally keep the camera wrapped up in the beach bag to protect it from the sand.
D4 Posted June 3, 2006 #3 Share Posted June 3, 2006 I bring disposable cameras for beach days and leave the expensive digital in the cabin.

Don't leave anything of value alone on the beach, not even for a minute. Take turns or bring a disposable camera for beach time. Leave your wallet and purse on the ship, tuck a few bucks in a pocket somewhere along w/your S&S card. Some of the best thieves and pick-pockets operate near and around cruise piers and other places where the tourists hang out - and they are slick.
