Euros

To be honest with oyu last year, we took no Euro with us, we hit the ATMS in the ports. They currancy exchange onboard ship was a little higher for exchange than the rate you can get from the ATM. We found it to be easier and we did not end up with a lot of extra Euro at the end of the trip.

ALso we did not have to mess with the Pursurs Desk or the exhange desk, or to change the travelers checks whenwe got home.

Some of the shops that we found inEurope gave a discount when using cash (Euro).

I'm a plan ahead person and didn't want to arrive in a foreign country without any of their money. Someone on the boards reported that there were lines at the airport ATMs and one ran out of money.

You can order them online from Bank of America and they will either mail them to you or you can pick them up at a branch. We also belong to AAA but I wanted a larger selection than what they offered. I also ordered a couple Euro travelers checks that can be cashed on the ship if need be.
