Bringing your own chairs

Short and sweet: Can you bring your own chairs to sit by the pool with??? I have two that fold up pretty neatly and would fit in my suitcase. Is this allowed? This way I wouldn't have to fight to get one.

I've never seen anyone bring their own chair. Don't know why you couldn't bring them on board. However, I'd be surprised if you'd find a place to put them anywhere near the pool. The chairs Carnival puts out are really quite close together.

We are bringing chairs with us that fold up into a canvas tote, but ours are for when we go to the beach. They are considered chairs for camping so they are very portable. A lot of places charge for the use of chairs for the day

just away to save afew bucks for more beers and trinkets

We have taken our own collapsible lounges a couple times. They fit into a duffle bag and weigh 12 lbs. They set up in three seconds and collapse in five - they are amazing.

We sailed several times on the Fantasy class ships and always hide in quiet shade on the side of the Lido Deck. But because that is the boarding area for lifeboats on that class of ship, no chairs or lounges were available. My poor husband would schlepp a couple chaises over for us and we'd hang out for hours, reading or napping.

Then my dear mother-in-law found and purchased these chaises for us! We don't need them on the newer class ships since Carnival had the foresight to provide chaises in our quiet, shady area!
