Kauai Port Parking

We will be at the Nawiliwili, Kauai port overnight. If we rent a car for both days is there parking available at the port? If so, is there a charge?

There is parking about a 1/4 mile away at a shopping center, for a $10 per night fee. The shuttle bus drivers will point out the location to you when they are taking you to the airport to pick up the car. The last shuttle back to the ship (Thrifty Car Rental) is at 8PM, if you don't need to keep the car overnight.

We'll be renting from Thrifty in Kona, but will be using Budget at the other ports. Did you notice the Budget shuttles operating when you were at the ports? Maybe I'll call each rental office to verify.

Yes, I did see Budget shuttles in the ports. It never hurts to call the 800# about a week b efore your cruise just to doublecheck everything and to remind them of what aprox time you will need the shuttle to pick you up.
