bogforce Posted June 6, 2006 #1 Share Posted June 6, 2006 Do any mega ships go to Bermuda for a 7 day cruise? I get motion sickness easily and would prefer a larger ship. The larger ships I've seen that sail to Bermuda are for 5 or 6 days.

Among the reason that the megas don't go for seven days is because they can only dock at the dockyards and there are too many ships wanting to use the same single dock so they are limited in how long they can stay. NCL has a couple of larger ships 90,000 plus ton class that stay one day at the dockyards but spend most of their time someplace else(like the Bahamas). Unfortunately 90,000 tons is considered middle sized today. It really depends on the seas more than the size of the ships whether the ship will rock and roll. Although on a mega ships the center sweet(non rolling part is bigger)...

PhillyCruiser Posted June 7, 2006 #4 Share Posted June 7, 2006 The brand, spanking new Crown Princess is calling at Bermuda on 9-day cruises out of New York. It's over 100,000 tons. Joan
