Sandi149 Posted June 6, 2006 #1 Share Posted June 6, 2006 My husband and I are going on the Legend in October. This is our 2nd cruise, 1st with Carnival. We have a balcony cabin. When the ship starts to sail do most people head up to the top deck or if they have a balcony cabin, do they sit there and watch the ship leave the dock? yst347 Posted June 6, 2006 #2 Share Posted June 6, 2006 Here we are at sailaway on Legend: We didn't have balconies so we were on deck along with a crowd of merry-makers! You can view our legend pictures here: http://community.webshots.com/album/497949607xiYMXX She is a beautiful ship, enjoy!
MrPete Posted June 6, 2006 #3 Share Posted June 6, 2006 It "appears" most people are up on deck. Best time to start knowing your neighbors, and get in both sides of the river, especially when you get to southern Manhattan. And then the view aft is magnificent as you start approaching the VNB. Sandi149 Posted June 6, 2006 Author #4 Share Posted June 6, 2006 Great pics....thanks for sharing. I will definitely head up on the deck. Btw, which deck would it be? I'm starting the learn the ship now so by the time we go, I will know where everything is.
yst347 Posted June 6, 2006 #5 Share Posted June 6, 2006 The picture above was taken on Sun deck but it really doesn't matter. Head up to the Lido and explore.
