Bermuda on Explorer in October from NY

[MA cruisers]

We are thinking about cruising to Bermuda from NY in October of this year. We are concernd about the weather and the NY waters. Any thoughts?

The New York waterrs are no problem except if there is a Hurricaine. We did Bermuda in September and it was fine. I have done 5 cruises out of NY at all seasons and its not the water near NY that is the problem. Going south it off the coast of NC that is rough and going mostly east as you are going to Bermuda unless you hit a storm its really ok.
