The Pearl wil be s sister to the Star, Dawn, Jewel and Pride of Hawaii, as will be the Gem. But none of them are "exact" sisters of one another.

The closest alike will be the Star and Dawn, yet there's differences between them too.

Actually the Jewel, the Pearl , Pride of Hawaii and the Gem will all be sisters, same deck plans. As are the Star and the Dawn... and also the Wind and Dream (in case anyone wants to know) ;)

The Pearl has a bowling alley (2 lanes??). I do not think the Jewel or POH have one. I do not know about the Gem.

They may be sisters, but with differences in personalities:D, each one unique in their own way.

Of course they have their own personalities (public areas are decorated differently and have different names) but if someone wanted to check out where a cabin might be, you can look at any of the sister ships deck plans... And the Pearl will have the bowling alley, it will have 4 lanes! Could be an interesting game if seas are rough LOL

The Pearl is being built at Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg, Germany. She should be finished in October, sea trials in November, and start cruising in December. The webcam updates every week, as of June 6 she appears almost completely built.

Check out Meyer Weft's webcam at their website.

We have a roll call started for the transatlantic. The link is below. What info do you want. 10 days, no ports. and great rates in the UK. Almost half the price of booking in the states.

The Pearl is starting to look like a ship
