Free Snorkeling in Cozumel?

Hi,

 

We are going to be in Cozumel at the end of november on the grand princess. we usually do a snorkel trip with eagle ray divers, which we absolutely love. this trip though my mother in law will have just had knee replacement surgery, and will not be able to pull herself up the steep ladders on their boats. do you have a suggestion of where we could snorkel from the beach? i know ther is chan...but where else could we go to snorkel??

Just back from coz and we went to Dzul Ha. We had a great time but to enter the water there are steps that lead down in the water and then there was a pretty good drop and some slippery rocks. We had one of the girls slip and fall on the way in and it is a pretty good climb to get out. This may not be the best location for your situation.
