Wheelchair in Hamilton

How accessible is Front Street in Hamilton for a wheelchair user? Are there pubs or cafes that are on ground level and easy for a wheelchair?

We have taken taxi tours before, but would like to explore Hamilton on this cruise.

We welcome any suggestions so DH can see the town area.

Thanks

Front Street is easy to navigate by wheelchair but some pubs and restaurants are on the second floor and might not be wheelchair accessible. One bar/restaurant, The Beach, is at ground level, as is the more upscale restaurant Port-O-Call.

To reach Reid Street (one block back of Front St.) go down to the birdcage by the Irish Linen store and turn right. If you try to get to Reid Street from other streets it will be too hilly for a wheelchair.
