Messina - Argus Car Rental

Anyone had experience with Argus in Messina? I booked about a week ago and had some questions but haven't gotten any response. I got their name on this website, but am getting a little worried. Thanks in advance

We used them last week and were very pleased. Car was exactly as promised, no "extras" on rate. We did purchase for about $15 insurance to cover the deductable so there were "no worries" while driving. Make sure you fill up with gas before returning vehicle (there are stations just a few blocks away).

 

The location was very convenient. Just walk to the right when you exit the port and you'll pass another car agency (maybe Hertz). Argus is within 2 blocks of where the Liberty docked. In the afternoon they close for the traditional long lunch, so discuss return time and they'll make arrangements to be there or instruct you to leave the keys behind a plant. The gentleman was very helpful and gave us specific driving instructions which he wrote on a map they provide. I'd do this again, and the driving was not difficult.

 

I'm not sure the e-mails go to that specific location, as they didn't even have a working printer. They are part of a larger chain, so you may want to contact headquarters again if you received no response.
