Sun vs Dawn Princess AB Mini-suites

I know the AB minis on Caribe are the largest ones on the Dawn, but which ones are the larger on the Sun? The two ships are configured a bit differently. For example on the Dawn the AB mini's on Caribe are on the outside and the AA mini's are in the middle. On the Sun they are reversed.

OK. . .how 'bout this? Has anyone had cabin D748 on the Sun? This is the mini on the back of the ship that is directly over the stage of the Vista Lounge. Wondering if their is any noise issues with this location? An other insight on this cabin would be appreciated also.

The measurements for the AB minis on the Sun, same as on Sea Princess are:

AB Minis B748 & B753 365 sq.ft. including veranda @ 6'0" x 15'6"

AB Minis C744 & C747 563 sq.ft. including veranda @ 10'0" x 16'0"

AB Minis D748 & D 751 413 sq.ft. including veranda @ 6' x 13'1"

Hope this helps. I've been in C747 on Sea Princess - it was fantastic, the best cabin ever. I even prefer it to the AA full suite next door. Have a great time. Annie:)

annieuk. . . thank you so much for those balcony measurements. I've also been in C747 but on the Dawn. Actually the minis on the Sun on Baja deck are inside while on the Dawn and the Sea they are outside. They are also larger, 512 Sq Ft. Most of the difference is in the balconies. It's nice to have the balcony sizes for the other minis. I'm not sailing on the Sun until 2008 but when we do we have friends in B755 so we'll measure the balcony. When we got C747, we thought we had died and gone to heaven. Hardly left that cabin and had several parties, one going through the Panama Canal. We agree, those Caribe Deck minis are better than the full suites.

CatusRose - My family and I stayed in B753 on the Sea Princess back in 1999. This was (I assume still is) considered a mini-suite. It was beautiful. I wish I could get it again. We loved this room so much, we still talk about it. We heard it was nicer than the "real" suites. I wouldn't doubt it, although I never saw the B755.

Happy Cruising!

Shirley
