tw67 Posted June 12, 2006 #1 Share Posted June 12, 2006 On my first RCI cruise (Monarch) way back when, in that land before children were in our lives...we were one of the first people to board, and one of the first things we did was to take a "tour of the ship" with a staff person. It was listed on the Compass, and it helped us get to know the ship, and out "tour guide" gave us great tips. I have not noticed this on other cruises, and now that we will be sailing back with RCI again (YEA!!), I was curious if they still did this. We will be on a 5 day cruise on the Enchantment on August 28. We will have our 3 & 8 year old boys with us, and I know our 8 year old would love the tour! He always wanted to know about the ships and information I can't always answer for him on our last cruises. I can't wait for my cruise!!
Host Kewlguy Posted June 12, 2006 #2 Share Posted June 12, 2006 We never had a tour offered by the ships staff. I understand they offer them to Diamond members. Things have changed since 9/11. Security is much more strict.
