vlynch Posted June 14, 2006 #1 Share Posted June 14, 2006 Hi- We're new to Princess (taking our first cruise on 8/25 on the Crown - and very excited by the info out there so far). Can anyone tell me if there are any adult only pools on the Crown? I thought the Lotus Spa was. Also, I'm assuming anyone can use the Lotus Spa Pool - is this correct? or does it apply to people who have spa appointments? Thanks!
Steven_&_Daniel Posted June 14, 2006 #2 Share Posted June 14, 2006 Yes, the Lotus Spa Pool is for adults. Whether this will be enforced remains to be seen. It is for anyone, not just spa customers. It is supposed to have a swim-against-the-current feature in part of the pool so you can swim non-stop if you want. I believe I read that the Terrace Pool, aft on the Riviera deck is also for adults. tpmartin Posted June 14, 2006 #3 Share Posted June 14, 2006 Yes the Terrace pool is also for adults it is very quiet back there and has it's own bar. Tom
Daveag Posted June 14, 2006 #4 Share Posted June 14, 2006 My Kids are wondering if the pools are fresh water or saltwater. The only other ship we have been on with fresh water pools was the Grand Princess. Being a Princess ship are the Crown pools the same?? Dave :) :)

barbarah33 Posted June 14, 2006 #6 Share Posted June 14, 2006 Princess is the only cruise line I have been on where they have all fresh water pools fleetwide - much better than salt IMO.
CL-JW Posted June 14, 2006 #7 Share Posted June 14, 2006 As previous posters have stated, the pools are freshwater. While on the Sapphire, the adults only pool rule was enforced.
