Tfish Posted June 15, 2006 #1 Share Posted June 15, 2006 Are there any suggestions for hotels with reasonable parking rates for a 9 day cruise ex New York. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanls
thereuare Posted June 15, 2006 #2 Share Posted June 15, 2006 There are virtually no hotels near the Brooklyn Pier and it's probaby too new to see hotels offering packages. The pier itself will likely be your best bet for a 9 day stay. The only other legitimate option is to leave your car on the outskirts of the city (dependent upon which direction you're coming from) where parking is cheap and then take mass transit towards Brooklyn and then follow-up with a short taxi ride. BlueHerons Posted June 15, 2006 #3 Share Posted June 15, 2006 Remember, space is at a premium in New York City and very few hotels will have park and stay packages. Parking is already very expensive in that area. Hotels can and do get as much as $25-$60 per day to park. As the above poster has stated, your best bet is to park at the pier. There are some great B&Bs in Brooklyn. Check out www.PAII.org and search New York.
