Port or Starboard for Summit Hawaii 3/3/07

Evening folks,

Got any feeling about which side is " more scenic" on a Summit Hawaii for next March 03, 07.

Anyone going on this one ... maybe we could start a thread.

We had read that west bound Panama Canal is "better" on the Port because one will see the other ships going East.!? and wondering if there is a preferred side for the Islands..

Hey thanks mucho much ... for any info or input.

We were on the starboard side, so the lava flow was very cool....(well actually it was pretty hot)

We looked out toward the city when docked in Honolulu and also the golf course when entering Kauai (i think).

I was on port side and thought it was great. But then, for the most scenic moments, day or night, I was on deck.

By the way, when we sailed Kona to Hilo we went around the north side of the island. No active lava there.
