AE Star Cabins

Hi there, does anyone know if the AE balconys on the Star wraps around the ship ??? When u look at the brochure deck plans it looks like the end cabins wrap around. Thank u for your help

Decks 8 and 9 do, 10 does not. Keep in mind, the wrap around part is very small. You can only stand on the wraparound part. I'm looking for a picture to attach.

The attached picture is hard to see the divider on 10th and not on 8th or 9th but it's definitely there. You can find the same picture only larger in my link below, I believe in the album labeled "Star to Mexico". Hope that helps.

Hi CuusingfromMN, thank u very much for sharing your pics. They were great. My DH an i were on the Star apx 4 years ago and had an AC Suite on the bow of the ship. We were on the Sun last year with an aft cabin now that is all we want. Thanks again for the grat pics.

My wife and I are in 9732 on the July 9th cruise and we are begining to burst with anticipation. I would be happy to send you some pictures when we return. Until then punch aft suite 9732 into the search engine and you will see pictures from a 2005 cruise of the room. It has a very funky Zebra theme, the people on the thread really gave it high marks. 15 days and counting.

Below are links to pictures I took of cabin 8170 on the Star including several of the balcony and room.

 

The wrap around balcony is wonderful. It is accessible on decks eight and 9 but not deck 10. The balcony narrows at the side when it wraps around but a chair cushion fit perfectly and I would lay in the sun there and watch the water, very nice!
