Smoking on board...

I agree with Liv, cigarettes DO cause ALOT of fires... they rank up there with candles and way above irons... people need to be aware that leaving them unattended is just stupid. I do smoke on occasion, but I try to be aware of the comfort of others... as long as they respect my right to smoke, I will make every effort to make sure to respect them as well.

Now that I can agree with. Regardless of the impression that I have of them not being all that dangerous (mistaken or not - perhaps familiararity does breed contempt), they are and open heat source, and anyone who leaves one just laying around, even in an ashtray, is in need of some intellectual assistance.

 

I wasn't trying to imply that cigarettes left unattended are not dangerous. Merely suggesting that perhaps other things are more so.

 

Like say, a crockpot? :)
