w0209666 Posted June 24, 2006 #1 Share Posted June 24, 2006 My mom and I will be in Cozumel on the Holiday next month and we booked the Off Road Jeep and Snorkel excursion. The problem that we did not think of is that neither one of us can drive a stick shift. Has anyone done this excursion? Will there be someone that can drive for us? Thanks, Jamie
JimBsGirl Posted June 24, 2006 #2 Share Posted June 24, 2006 Not completely sure about Cozumel, but my DH and I were looking at a Jeep excursion in Playa Del Carmen, and on the Carnival website I think it said 4 people to a jeep, so maybe they'll stick you with someone else? I'd pull up the Carnival website and try to check for you right now, but I can't get it to come up....
JimBsGirl Posted June 24, 2006 #3 Share Posted June 24, 2006 I checked on my reservation with Carnival for my shore excursions available in Cozumel (we'll be there in September) and I'm looking at the same one you booked (Jeep and Snorkel) it says there will be 4 in a jeep, so I would imagine they would probably try to pair you with someone who could drive a stick. Good Luck!
solita Posted June 24, 2006 #4 Share Posted June 24, 2006 Although there will be 4 to a Jeep, they can not guarantee that you can be paired with someone who can drive stick.
w0209666 Posted June 24, 2006 Author #5 Share Posted June 24, 2006 So what happens if we don't get paired with someone who drives a stick? Do you think we should change excursions? We were really looking foward to this. Jamie
solita Posted June 26, 2006 #6 Share Posted June 26, 2006 The other option that they sometimes offer pax is to ride with one of the guides.
