Transfer/Tour from Athens?

Those who have taken the Star Clipper ships through the Greek Islands, what suggestions do any of you have for transfers/tours between the Athens airport and the port? We would like to get in 3 to 4 hours of sightseeing before boarding. Either private or small groups would be fine.

Hi,

My wife and I did this cruise in 2005. We were met at the airport by Star Clippers persons, who helped us to the terminal. Trouble was that we had about 6 hours before we could board the ship (4 PM). You could arrange to tour the city from the airport and be transported to the ship, which departs around 7 PM, I think. The only hang-up I would have would be lugging bags around. The taxis in Athens are much smaller than in the US.
