Kid Adventure Club- wristbands?

This is our first RCCL cruise and wanted to know if the kids are given wristbands like they do on the Carnival ships. My youngest hates the wristbands and would like to prepare him.

Kids 11 and under are given wristbands at the beginning of the cruise and are supposed to keep them on all week. My son took his off and they gave him a new one when he went to the kids club.

My daughter 8 last year was also given a wrist band at the start of the cruise and had to wear it the whole cruise.

The wristbands list the childs Muster Station only. In the event of an emergency, the AO counsellors will take the children to the appropriate muster station to meet up with their parents. This will be explained to you upon embarking.

 

I have the exact opposite problem as my DS loves to wear them and I have to fight to get it off two weeks after the cruise!

My son's began to lose it's ink on Wednesday. He was telling us that our muster station was "messed up 12" after the "C" disappeared. It started cracking on Thursday and finally fell off in the shower on Saturday.
