Stuart Cove question - snorkeling access?

Thanks to those who have posted about Stuart's Cover we're now considering it for our visit to Nassau later this week.

I was wondering if anyone knows whether you snorkel at a beach or have to go off of the boat? If you go off of the boat, how easy is the access in and out of the water, e.g., do they have a ladder? is it shallow waters?, etc. We have one person in our group who is somewhat large and is afraid that if it's off the boat they may have some problems getting in and out.

Thanks to any and all who respond.
