Question for someone who has done Godfrey tour recently

We've been to St Thomas several times and have never done a tour...and I know Godfrey's they guy to go with. My husband doesn't understand how we are going to do all that sightseeing in 2 hours. Can someone help us out?

I'm interested in a tour that will take us to see all the historic stuff (Bluebeard's castle, Drake's Seat etc)...and he wants time at Magen's Bay Beach. It looks like Tour Two is what we want.

How long did you spend shopping? How long did you spend sightseeing? Did you see everything Godfrey said you would? Did you feel rushed? How long did you spend at Magen's Bay? Anything you would do differently?

Thanks in advance!

We took Godfrey's tour the end of May off the Caribbean Princess.

He met us right at the ship. If you want to include sightseeing you should take Tour 1.

We took a ten minute drive to downtown Charlotte Amalie and shopped for two hours. He picked us up and we went sightseeing for two hours. We stopped at a scenic overlook, then on to Mountain Top for a view of Magen's Bay. We then stopped briefly at Drake's Seat. We did not go to Bluebeard's Castle.

Godfrey will safely store any purchases in the front of his truck which is locked.

Godfrey then gives you a choice of going to Magen's Bay (smooth sandy bottom, no snorkeling or jet skis) Coki baech (can be crowded, water sports, snorkeling), or Saphhire beach ( less crowded, jet skis, snorkeling, bathroom is in a trailer in the parking lot). We went to Saphhire Beach. He picked us up right on time and got us to the ship with time to spare.

He narrates his tour, but is hard to understand while traveling with the road noise. At $25 a person we thought it was a good value.

Hope this helps.

You might also want to look at threads regarding Sunny Liston, who also does tours.
