??Train from Heathrow to Kennsington ??

I will be arriving at Heathrow Airport and need to get myself to my hotel. I have been researching my options and have a question about the train stations in London. Will I have to carry my luggage up stairs if I take the train or are there escalators to get me up to street level from the tube?

It depends on the tube stop. Most have no elevators but have lots of stairs and escalators.

Thank you for your quick response. Do you happen to know about the St. James Park station? That is where I need to get out of the tube station to get to my hotel. Is there an escalator at that station?

The easiest option would be to take the Heathrow Express train from the airport into Paddington Station (west London) and from there take a taxi to your hotel. All very easy.

This link will take you to the 'Transport for London' .It will let you plan journeys through London,it also takes into account ones mobility level.

The Heathrow Express is quick BUT pricey. The tube network is slower but MUCH cheaper!
