Nor me....I was expliquing (pardon my french) to garycarla why we needed two laptops....because we each have work vpn's, and are not allowed to load the vpn software on machines other than the work machine.

A possible solution that I used once, which I came across by mistake. If you are like me, the data on the hard drive is of more value than the computer itself. Hate to have it stolen, but that data would kill me. So, I took the screws out of the hard drive and would stash that in the safe that my computer would not fit in.

 

So, on one cruise, I had two hard drives, one for me and one for my wife. Of course this would only work if the machines were identical.

By the way, I just discovered that Cingular customers can RECEIVE text messages on their phone for only $0.10 each which is really cheap. More details here.
