Gogetter,

When going to my June Glory Cruise the construction in South Jacksonville at the intersection of I-295 and I-95 was very messy. THere were a few other spots that were not so great as well. Once south of Daytona....clear sailing. We used A1A between Palm Coast and Daytona for a change of scenery.

They have been doing construction around St. Augustine just after you leave Jacksonville. They are working on the interchanges from 295 around Jacksonville that merge back to 95 south of Jacksonville. It wasn't bad. You have to slow to 55 for a few miles, but otherwise, it's mainly 70mph all the way.

If you are heading to Miami, there is construction in Palm Beach County, as usual. It's about 10 miles of heavy construction and 55mph, most around here just go with the flow of traffic which around here is 65-70mph.
