Okay I know that I should already know this~

but I am trying to put a list together...

for all the drinkers and non drinkers (I am the nerd) in our group.

I don't know anything beyond Virgin Strawberry Daquairi...and that is because I can order that at my local mexican restaurant.....

Favorite Foo Foo Drinks?

What is in them?

WHICH ONE's Can I get Virgin?:D

What the heck do they cost?

Thanks Everyone!

Usually I drink Captain and Coke, but I tried a few foo foo drinks on my recent cruise. I liked the Bahama Mama and Miami Vice. I have no idea what is in them. I don't know why you would take the alcohol out of them:confused: Crazy!! I say try everything, you are bound to find something you like. :D

Be sure to order an Irish Car Bomb.

It has no alcohol in it, I promise.:D

In part because the bartender probably won't know how to make it.

I drank more on my recent cruise on the Glory than I ever have in my life.

That means I had one glass of wine every evening, and one each of the following:

One Kahlua over ice, sharing drinks with my father (50th anniversary wedding celebration) and my brother.

One Amaretto, same deal next evening.

One Grey Goose extra dry martini, with my brother following a HUGELY

profitable run at the roulette wheel on our last night on the cruise.

All were taken VERY slowly and done as an adventure shared with the

people who are most important to me in my life. Only the martini had

any effect that was noticeable, and that simply gave a pleasant, relaxing

sensation of warmth to me. I had no intention to get drunk or even

close to it, and I didn't. But I did enjoy the family companionship over shared drinks.

I haven't touched any of those drinks since but I don't mind a glass of wine

in the evenings.

I recommend this: Non-alcoholic beer with tomato juice. About a quarter

of the drink is beer, the rest is tomato juice. I drink this for the wonderful flavor.

A cruise is a great time to do something different you wouldn't ordinarily do.

It's OK to try a drink you'd never touch normally. Live a life that includes

some new experiences. Have more good memories to draw on later in life.

The list was good...

I'll pass it out to my group of friends and family!

Thanks.

Miami Vice sounds good.

$3.95 for virgin?

No wonder I like 7-11 Cherry Coke Slushies for 79 cents...

I am way to cheap.:o

I hate to think what you all pay if it has buzz in it!

I once saw a $1000 bar tab on a three day cruise we were on!

The guy was paying it at the pursers desk...he looked really sober.:D

PS I never drink....I am a health nut...

Thanks for the advice though...but One Tylenol puts me to sleep... I am so sensitive.

But Maybe I'll splurge for something pretty in my hand but w/o the buzz...then I'll still have my head on my shoulders when it is in my stomach!

You all are a great help!

Cheers.

I am normally a scotch/rocks kinda gal but on a cruise my frou-frou drink is a Yellow Bird. White rum, galliano, creme de bananas, apricot brandy, pineapple juice, bar sugar and lime.....OOOOOO!

A beautiful color and a refreshing and lovely taste!:) :)

Cruiser: Hello friendly bartender. I'd like to have a Golden Shower.

Bartender: Ok, My shift ends in a half hour I'll meet you at.............

Pour Guiness into a pint glass. Float Baileys on top of Jamison in shot glass. Drop shot glass, carefully, into Guiness. Drink quickly before it curdles.

from

http://www.cocktail.com/recipes/i/IrishCarBomb.htm

Again, pretty nasty. Drink it befor it curdles?

You can just order a shot of cottage cheese. This way you wont get sick since the cottage cheese is pasturized.

Being from Juneau Alaska I am very familiar with the Duck Fart... You need to make sure you have the order correct in the shot glass.

First Kahlua

Second float the Baileys on the Kahlua

Third float the Crown on top of the Baileys

Super yummy!!:)

It should look layered.
