Tristan Posted July 8, 2006 #1 Share Posted July 8, 2006 It is supposed to protect against jellyfish stings, and I'd love to know if it really works. Thanks.

Spikesgirl Posted July 9, 2006 #3 Share Posted July 9, 2006 upon the type of jelly fish. There are several kinds and some can be deadly. I would do some research into whatever area you are going into and see if or what type of jelly fish likes to hang around (no pun intended) the area and when. If they are going to be there when you are, I would go to my local scuba/snorkle store and ask questions. To assume that one product works for everything might be giving it too much credit. Having survived a massive jellyfish attack, I can say it's not fun and I stay out of the ocean when they are around now, but some simple planning and precaution should do you well. Hope this helps a little, Charlie
