nitnee Posted July 8, 2006 #1 Share Posted July 8, 2006 If I don't mind not sitting in the sun or near the pool, is there a place where I can easily find 2 deck chairs without getting in a fight with some ***** who has reserved 20 chairs for his family reunion? PvtHoovie Posted July 8, 2006 #2 Share Posted July 8, 2006 Although this dosen't really answer you question, let me tell you about what I saw on the Victory this past March. One day we were near the pool on the Lido deck, and observed a line of about 6 charis all 'marked' with flipflops, magazines, etc. We were there for 45 minutes or so and no sign of the occupants. A couple came along and all other chairs being either like marked or taken, the husband moved the items from 2 of the chairs. When the chickens came home to roost some time later, there was a small confrontation- I was too far away to hear the words. The "chair markers" went and brought a security guard to the area, and the guard ran off the couple. Maybe the unwritten rule is don't flag a chair and come back three hours later when you finally decide to use it, but I guess since the "chair markers" were there first, it was enough entitlement for at least that guard. For what it's worth....
caribbean dreams Posted July 8, 2006 #3 Share Posted July 8, 2006 Go to the upper deck around the pool, you can usually find a few chairs there.
