We just got off the ship for same cruise last week. The ship is in very good condition for its age. We thought the food was very good and staff very friendly. Like another poster, we found a lack of servers on deck and theater. Our biggest complaint was entertainment. It was not good IMO. We are in our 50s and found a definite older crowd the first week in January. We have cruised in January before but not in celebrity. We found that by 3 whirlpools were empty. Folks seemed to like earlier dinner time. We did find chairs on deck during day pretty easily. Happy sailing!

We were just on the reflection. There was cheese everywhere..cubed, shredded, sliced, etc ..🙃

We have not been on an Edge class ship. We just got off the same cruise you are considering yesterday. The Reflection for its age is in very good shape. There were lots of deck chairs throughout the day. At around 4 the outside decks and solarium were pretty much empty. We had the whirlpools to ourselves most days starting at that time in solarium. The food except for desserts and overall service were very good. What we didn’t like: the gym(way too hot), walking track location, excursions were not great in choice, and the entertainment was terrible in our opinion. It was an older crowd, but most likely due to length of cruise and time of year. We have adult kids and wouldn’t recommend this ship for young adults. Happy sailing either way!

I don’t know. DH and I had the basic WiFi. We upgraded during a sale $3.99) for 1 device each which was cheaper than the 2 device. Honestly only one of us even needed the 1 upgrade.

I’m lactose intolerant. I add bare minimum to coffee. For me, it’s about milk products in foods or desserts. I will atypically take a lactose pill to assist. Happy sailing!

I have been unable to sign into my account on website for 2 days (states “it’s not you. It’s us”)..I was able to check things on app. Now app is unavailable. Anyone else having issues?awe are beyond final payment and have had no issues until 2 days ago. TIA

I am having bigger issues with delta who keeps changing my flights to terrible times. If the upgrade is a mistake, we are ok with the classic package. 🙂

Just checked our cruise (reflection 1/6/24) again and it dropped to $6.99 per day..scooped it up as we had OBC. We had previous,y gotten the premium WiFi at $3.99 ..I did notice premium is now drinks up to $15

Do you rent once you get there or beforehand? And if before, wher from? We have rented in Cozumel a few times and really like the ease of it.

Thanks. What is the difference between premium WiFi 1 device and 2 device? It’s basically the same price if I do 2 guests with the 1 device or 1 guest with the 2 devices. I assume I could use my iPad and my DH his phone with the 2 device option.

What a fantastic trip so far! I’ve never seen a review in Alaska where someone rented bikes and did a DIY. That would be right up our alley or bike path. 🙃 enjoy the rest of the trip and thanks for taking us along.

My youngest was 3 for his first cruise which was a 5 day on carnival. Caught the cruising bug! My kids preferred cruising over Disney. Unless your kids like Disney, a Disney cruise is not really worth it IMO. We cruised RCI as they got older (preteens/teens). DH and I went on NCL right before Covid shut down. We would recommend for preteens/teens as well. Happy cruising to them!

Booked a cruise to the ABC islands on the Reflection. It’s our first time on Celebrity. We booked the cruise due to itinerary, time of year, and price. We had really wanted HAL Rotterdam but price kept going up with no amenities. We understand Reflection is an older ship. Recent cruisers how is the condition of the ship? We aren’t tied to the ship or the cruise. If not in good shape, may cancel and look at other vacation options. The E class infinite verandas are not really of interest. TIA
