HAL disemb Rome, what is the earliest flight home

If we disembark in Rome, can we make a 10:10 flight back to the US from FCO airport? Any experiences with this? We hope to save $ by booking flights on our own, HAL wants a fortune for their flight. Thanks in advance

I wouldn't want to risk that kind of connection. remember you are not disembarking in rome, but civitavecchia. even if you could be off the ship by 7am which is very doubtful you still have about an hour's ride to get to the airport - for an international check in. why don't you consider the possibility of spending that day and night in rome and catching that same flight out the next morning - or maybe that isn't practical for you.

I would not take a plane any earlier than 1pm and that would be pushing it for me. It is a solid hour or more depending on traffic from Civitavechhia to the airport once you manage to get off the ship. I agree, consider spending the night or book something much later.
