We were in a D1 on floor 10...without asking were moved into a JS on floor nine! 9 days out...yippee!!! So i guess RCCL will change your room without asking and yes the upgrade fairy is real!!!!!:D :p

The RCCL upgrade fairy does exist.........we just see him (her) at work that often. Congratulations on the JS and enjoy!!!

Junior, Family, Grand, Owners, and Royal suites all qualify for 2 cruise credits.

Booking a JS or higher (including a visit from the upgrade fairy) gets you 2 cruise credits towards the RCL Loyalty Program... Crown & Anchor Society... instead of the standard 1 cruise credit.

Congratulations. It seems the upgrade fairy visits within a couple weeks out of the sailing date so it comes as one of those last minute wonderful surprises. Enjoy.

I once had the upgrade fairy visit - from a D1 to a GS.:) However, we only received 1 cruise credit. The explanation I rec'd was that we had only paid for a cabin, not a suite, and that upgrades didn't count towards additional credits. Despite not getting the extra credit, this was a most wonderful gift from RCI. We had a glorious time in our GS.
