What to know before you go - Caribbean Princess

[New cruiser from Atlanta]

I cruised on NCL Jewel earlier this year and there was a great thread with answers to those frequently asked questions and overall advice for other NCL Jewel cruisers. For example:

• What is the best time to arrive at the port?
  
• What is the simplest way to reserve specialty restaurants?
  
• Is it best to reserve seats for evening movies on MUTS?

Basically, any advice that helped make your cruise smoother and what you wish you had known beforehand.

 

Would love to start something similar for Caribbean Princess because I'm new to cruising on Princess and would love some tips.

They don't do reservations for MUTS on CP. At least they didn't back in March.

I have seen on this board that no reservations are required for MUTs (used to be that way)..as far as the specialty restaurants, you might want to reserve early so that you can get your time/day...I've heard that if you don't, you may not get a spot.
