Ala Moana beach park

Hi, I'm new on this board. I just got a job at NCLA, so I will have a little time to spend at each port in Hawaii. Just got a question. How far is Ala Moana beach park from the port of call in Oahu? Never been to hawaii so I know nothing about the island...

It is a few miles, but easy to reach by bus from the pier to Ala Moana.

And if you don't mind walking, it's about a 30 minute walk from Aloha Tower (the cruise ship pier)

Like kapiolani park, this is another big park just on the edge of waikiki with lots of local life, especially on weekends.

The sand isn't the best because some comes from a quarry.

Ala Moana is a huge shopping center across the street, also a kind of grand central for the bus system.

Ward center/warehouse is midway from the ships, also major shopping with great restaurants there.
