MD VBMom Posted July 18, 2006 #1 Share Posted July 18, 2006 We are looking to cruise on Carnival for Thanksgiving. I've been looking through their website trying to figure out what ships might best serve our needs -- it will be me, my dh and two daughters, 11 & 9. We've always felt the newer the ship, the nicer it will be. But I'll be darned if I can find our how old any of the ships in the fleet are. Granted, I'm no computer guru--maybe I'm just looking in the wrong spot. Maybe I just need to pick up a brochure! Or maybe some of the older ships are just as nice as newer ones??? Any advice would be appreciated. :)
mrdood Posted July 18, 2006 #2 Share Posted July 18, 2006 Better site is www.cruisedeckplans.com go to Carnival, then you can view the ship by classes, click on a ship, then click on "Ship Stats"
Guest YesitDonna Posted July 18, 2006 #3 Share Posted July 18, 2006 This should bring you directly to the list of Carnival ships with aes and tonage etc.. http://www.a1cruises.com/ships.asp
love2vacation Posted July 18, 2006 #4 Share Posted July 18, 2006 If you go to the ships tab on the www.*****.com website, then the particular ship it will give you all the ship info including the last refurbishment. This refurbishment is important to me because then I can see when the ship has been updated, with new carpet, etc.
