PandK1012 Posted July 19, 2006 #1 Share Posted July 19, 2006 We just booked an October cruise on Explorer of the Seas cabin 9240. We might be crazy, but it looks from the RCCL website that this cabin is smaller than the other Junior Suits. Plus, from the picture it looks as if we are right behind the elevators. Does anyone know anything about this particular room? Is it smaller than the rest? Is it going to be noisey from the crowds at the elevator? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks and HAPPY Sailing!
cb at sea Posted July 19, 2006 #2 Share Posted July 19, 2006 !st--the elevators are not really right next to the rooms--it just looks that way on the deck plans. There's really a wall--they're in their own hallway. So noise shouldn't be a problem at all. Even if your JS is longer and narrower than the others, it should still have the same sq. footage. Have you checked with RCI about this?
PandK1012 Posted July 20, 2006 Author #3 Share Posted July 20, 2006 Yeah, we called RCI and they said all the rooms "should" be the same...heehee...guess we will see. But glad to hear the it will not be too noisey. Thanks so much!
