Specialtiy Restaurants on Spirit

I know this probably has been asked several times before, but:

I would like to book specialty restaurants on Spirit, the 8 day eastern carribean cruise, but have some questions:

1) Others have spoken about Lobster night and other special nights in the main dinning rooms. Does anyone know what night has what special meals in the main dinning room on the spirit? This way if my DW wishes to have Lobster night in main dinning room I will not book specialty restaurant on those nights.

2) I also heard from others that they unfortunately made reservations the same time that shows were going on in the theatre, and therefore they missed the shows. What time are the shows, and is there some schedule of shows to review for the week prior to booking reservations?

As usual, thanks for any input from anyone. This board has been extremely helpful thus far.

Be aware that the lobster served in the main dining rooms are "Lobster tails" and not whole lobster. Whole lobster is only available in Cagney's.

Shows on NCL ships are at 7:30 & 9:30 each night if there are two shows (usually your production shows and most acts.) Sometimes there is only one show if it is a Special performer and that is at 8:30. I have found that if you get to the dining rooms by 6:00 p.m., you have no problem making the 7:30 show. Some people also wait and go to dinner after the 7:30 show (at like 8:30). People who try to go between 7:00 and 8:30 have problems making the 9:30 show and of course are missing the 7:30!

The 9:30 shows also tend to be more crowded.
