Cabins 6320 and 6324 on the Liberty

We've actually booked these cabins on the Freedom, but assume they are the same as on the Liberty. Has anybody been in a room in this general area? My concern is that I now realize that the deck below, the Promenade Deck, may be a bit noisy. Should I consider changing to the Empress Deck (Deck 7) as it will only be $50 pp more? Any help will be appreciated.

It looks like your cabins are right over the arcade, just before the disco - if there were any noise problems, I'd think they'd be more obvious in 6324 as that is right at the edge. The Freedom is a Conquest class ship so anyone who has been in those cabins on the Conquest, Glory, Valor or Liberty could give you a definite answer.

 

(To compare deck plans, I open 2 windows and then match up elevators as I look at the layouts, side by side.)

Thanks K for your suggestion. I actually printed out both deck plans and compared them. I am more concerned now to see if indeed the noise carries, so if anybody has any info, I'd appreciate it.

I just found another posting somewhere else in which someone asked about another cabin location on deck 6. It was suggested that it was possible to hear the bass playing on the promenade deck. Anybody else know if this is true.

We were on the Liberty 01/01 in 7422 and 7426 and there was not any noise problem. We stayed out on the balconies late at night and very seldom heard anyone else.
