Uconnfan Posted July 24, 2006 #1 Share Posted July 24, 2006 Hi, We went on the Dawn last January. Had an obstructed view with two adults. Want to go again in January with three adults. Last year our room fit the two of us just fine. Looking to upgrade to a balcony or mini suite. What would be good for the three of us.
shoreguy Posted July 24, 2006 #2 Share Posted July 24, 2006 Either would work - the mini will give you all a bit more inside space (75 sf) and the sofa bed is full sized as well as a curtain between the two areas. Better storage. Bigger balcony for 3 In either case who ever gets the sofa bed gets a very firm place to sleep. Many have requested a egg crate pad to soften it up. KeystoneCruiser Posted July 29, 2006 #5 Share Posted July 29, 2006 My parents had three adults in their cabins on both the Star and the Dawn (sister ships, almost exact same cabin layouts.) On the Star they were in a BA On the Dawn they were in a AF Although both had a sofa bed, they felt the AF was better because it had the privacy curtain, my parents are early to bed, their cabin mate liked to read in bed. The AF also has two seperate air conditioning/heating controls in the cabin so each section can have their own temperature setting. Hope this helps.
