Buying beer in Nassau

Dh & I will be in Nassau for the day in September. We are planning on doing a little shopping in the a.m. and then taking the #10 Jitney to Paridise island or Cable beach. We would like to try the bahaman beer, Kikak ??? I have the name written down somewher. My question is there a store close by the pier where we could go buy a 6 pack to take the one of the beaches.

There is a small grocery store on Woodes Rogers Walk. This is the street that runs right along the waterfront adjacent the cruise ships, running parallel to Bay Street. It's at the intersection at Frederick Street. As you walk from the cruise terminal towards Senor Frogs and the British Colonial Hilton, it will be on your left. Good place for soft drinks and snacks too.

 

The Bahamian beer is called KALIK.
