doubletree hotel in miami info?

Just booked this hotel for March 2007. Wondering if restaurants and cafes are walking distance, and does anyone know of any place that has great chicken wings:) I just love them for a light supper.

FYI, just called and asked re: transportation to port. Concierge said $10.00 for ride to port total (not per person) for all passengers in vehicle and that it is about five minutes away. I didn't ask how big the vehicle is... :)
