I was wondering how late the Pools/Hot Tubs are open on Royal Carribean and Princess, specifically.

On our Princess trips (Grand, Golden, Coral, Star), the pools/hot tubs were open 24/7. I have read reviews that this is not the case on Caribbean Princess, that they close at midnight. They might close one for cleaning, but usually there is another open.

 

Can't comment on RCCL, haven't cruised them yet.

RCI's hottubs and pools are also open 24/7 unless closed for cleaning.

They always try to leave at least one hot tub and pool open at all times, even when cleaning.

They will close them if the weather is rough, however, for safty reasons. Otherwise both lines have 24/7 opened pools. You may have to look or ask which is opened. If only the Solarium pool is open then kids are not allowed.
