Need Seattle restaurant info, please

Funny coincidence you would ask that this week. The Seattle Times just did a survey on Seattle Sushi restauants. Here is the link: http://archives.seattletimes.nwsource.com/cgi-bin/texis.cgi/web/vortex/display?slug=taste26&date=20060726&query=sushi

I would try Todai in Pacific Place, and though expensive it has a great variety of asian items and the sushi is very fresh. It's all you can eat - but certainly upscale and good quality.

You can also go to Uwajimaya in the International District - they have fresh sushi plus it's a wonderful grocery/general merchandise store.

Thank you very much for the info. We are looking forward to visiting Seattle and good sushi. As you can imagine, a little town of Townville in So Carolina does NOT have sushi!

In Seattle, many of the grocery stores sell it (the one near our house has an in-store sushi chef to prepare it on the spot). We have a local spot near our house that we bring the kids to when we don't want to cook (Blue C sushi), but it's pretty run of the mill.

I'd check any of the recommendations from the article, or other poster though, for the best stuff.
