Last min Insignia advice 8/3

Need some last min advice for Insignia 8/3. It will be our first Oceania cruise. I too do not want to overpack and wondered about laundry service etc. Any must "sees" for Copenhagen before the cruise??? We only will have an evening and day of cruise to cover the city! Please help!!:)

You can either do your own laundry or send it out. They do a good job for a reasonable price and if you want same day service you can pay 50% more. Otherwise laundry and dry cleaning are usually returned the evening of the following day.

 

As to Copenhagen if you are there in the evening definitely go to Tivoli Gardens. During the day you can take the hop on and off bus to many attractions. You may want to see the Little Mermaid which is famous but somewhat of a disappointment. The crown jewels at the Rosenburg Palace were interesting and the Nyhavn harbor area with all of the quaint shops and restaurants was nice. The Palace area where the Queen lives is another possibility and if you wish to go outside out of town a little way we enjoyed the Fredricksburg Castle. ( I am not sure of the spelling). Finally following the shopping street from the Nyhavn area to the city hall was something many found to their liking.

 

If you don't want to bother with the hop off and on bus, we found cabs plentiful.
