NCL Pearl

Recommended Posts

I just went to NCL's website and looked at the deck plans of the Pearl and yes there is a movie theater, rock climbing wall and bowling alley. Enjoy!

Two out of three ain't bad :)

4 lanes of bowling (deck 7 aft), a rock climbing wall (deck 14 aft), but no real movie theater. There is a tiny cinema deck 12 but in and for the Kids club

Shore guy and others: I noticed that the pictures of the aft balconies on the Jewel/Pearl seem to show that the 9th floor mini suite balconies are smallier that the balconies on the lower aft section cabins.(not the handicap cabin balconies).. Is that an optical illusion?:)

I made my first mistake of the day... My previous post should state deck 11, mini suites... not deck 9.. After looking at the deck plans for the Jewel I see that the aft section cabins have both normal and large decks for the different class of cabins...on the decks under the mini suite deck 11...

Aft mini balconies on the Jewel and soon the Pearl are exactly the same size as the other mini suites on the ship.

Deck 10 balconies are no were near as deep (big) as the ADs and BAs on the Dawn/Star. :(

I know the bowling alley is being heralded as an "industry first", but does anyone else think that bowling would be quite difficult on a moving/rocking cruise ship? (Perhaps this is why it hasn't been done before?)

I guess it's the same as playing craps on a rocking cruise ship.:p
